Can a Mifi wireless device fit in the area where credit cards go for either the iPhone 3gs or iPhone 4?

I don’t know. I haven’t played with a mifi device. If it is about the size of 3 stacked credit cards, maybe.

Do the iPhone cases fit the iPhone 4 nicely?

They are generally tight fitting at first and then will break in over time for a nice snug fit.

One can vary the fit of the case by the number of cards you choose to put in the case. Less=looser. It’s designed for about 3 cards.

Howdy sir: Noticed on your Etsy page that you've taken measurements for other cellphones besides iPhone. Are you considering adding BlackBerry cases to your lineup, as well? Understandable if not - their inconsistent sizes/shapes might make it hard to produce quality cases for them. I just have a BlackBerry-toting friend who was jealous of my iPhone 4 case. Thanks in advance for your answer!

I don’t have plans to add BlackBerry Cases at this time, but perhaps in the future.

In all honesty, I have 5-6 designs in the final stages of design that I’ve been too busy to finalize because business has been so brisk.

Does the iPhone 4 still fit in the case if it's wearing the official Apple bumper?

It doesn’t. I have not been able to get my hands on a bumper to look into alternatives yet.

Will my iPhone 3GS still fit in the case for the iPhone 4? I'm going to get the newer iPhone eventually, but I want to start breaking that leather in as soon as possible. Can't wait!

Nope. The two phones are very different in size and shape. Sorry.

Chirping Birds

No, this is not a post about twitter. It’s the sound that I’ve been hearing at about an hour before sunrise that its time to go to bed for a couple of hours before resuming the handcrafting of Tuchs. I didn’t anticipate that Tuch would take off this fast.  Thank you all for the orders and I’ll get them to you soon!

Tuchmade.com - 509

Well it looks like Tuch’s super popular day in the sun has exceeded more than just our expectations, but also the bandwidth of our servers.

I am working on resolving the problem.

In the meantime, all of you who would like to make purchases can do so at the Tuchmade Etsy shop. tuchmade.etsy.com

Thanks again to everyone for making this a particularly interesting and amazing day.

I don't have anything to ask just something to tell. Your site and it's content rocks.

Thank you!

how are the seams held together?

All the cases are assembled with slots and tabs. That’s partially how I came up with the name “Tuch” (pronounced like “tuck”), because I’m “tucking” the tabs in the slots. There’s more to the name, but I digress and I’ll save that for another time.

I spent a lot of time experimenting with various configurations and sizes of tabs and slots until I found the ones that work for each given task. Not only do the tabs have to have the optimal strength but they also have to have the right proportions so that they add to the overall rhythm of the design.

Will the iphone4 fit in the tuch with the bumber case already on?

The iPhone 4 will not fit in the Tuch for iPhone 4 with the bumper on. Sorry… But really, don’t you want to see your iPhone in all its nude glory! :)

How about a case for the Barnes & Noble "Nook"?

Yes, eventually. I’ve taken the measurements.

Do you have any plans to make cases for 15" MacBooks?

Yes I do. I am working finalizing the design for the Satchel for 15”. And will be starting a sleeve for the 13” and 15” MacBooks. Most likely they will be like the iPad sleeve, but with a landscape orientation instead.
